This is an engineering job not a building or streetscape plan.
This is not a building, a park or a structure.
I and others wonder why the Port Jefferson Village administration hired an architectual firm months ago to assess the issues associated with the ongoing downtown flooding when they also hired PW Grosser an engineering firm they also had hired in the past.
An architectual firm according to the dictionary is concerned with efficient use of space through plan organization and social implication and nowhere in the hired architectual firms decription, do they mention flood mitigation. Where as PW Growsser emphasizes their strengths in engineering prowess relating to ground water remediation.
I would hire an architectual firm to design a building or home and certainly not to take on a major flood issue affecting a Village of 8000 people.
