LICM performs chamber music at local venues across Long Island including parks, libraries, churches, museums, and community centers. This includes LICM’s in-demand series, “Notes in Nature” at Planting Fields, “ Under the Stars” at Vanderbilt Museum’s Reichert Planetarium, and its newest endeavor, “Carriage House Salon Series” at Long Island Museum. LICM works closely with its community partners to create concert programs that are inspired by the space and compelling to audiences providing insight into the music programmed. Each concert showcases a variety of instruments drawn from LICM’s artist roster of professional musicians.
