DasVolks Vintage Volkswagen group, Long Island's Aircooled Only Vintage Volkswagen owners club, invites all aircooled Volkswagens to "Long Island Air Raid" on August 7th, 2011. A relaxed show-and-shine atmosphere at Harbor Front Park, located at the Port Jefferson Village Center. Port Jefferson Village is on Long Island's scenic north shore. Gates open to show cars at 9am, with people's choice and club favorite judging ending at 1pm. A relaxing water front park with views of our nautical heritage make this an ideal venue for your family to picnic alongside your Volkswagen, walk along historic Main Street, and overlook the harbor on a cool summer day.
