Fire Breaks Out At Port Jefferson Apartment Complex
The fire, which resulted in mimimal damage, is not considered suspicious and no one was injured, Suffolk police said.
PORT JEFFERSON, NY — A fire broke out at an apartment complex in Port Jefferson on Wednesday, Suffolk police said.
The fire started just before 6 p.m. on Old Town Road, drawing area firefighters as well the police department's Arson Squad. The fire resulted in "minimal damage" and has been deemed "non-criminal in nature," police said.
No one was injured, according to police.
