FISHING PORT JEFFERSON is glorious. Big STRIPED BASS, FLUKE, PORGIES, SEA BASS, BLUEFISH AND BLACKFISH and all here in abundance. Big Bass have moved into our area recently and fishing at night was the method that produced. Small fluke AND SOME KEEPRS are plentiful also out around Buoy 11PORT JEFF, SMITHTOWN BAY, CEDAR BEACH and buoy 9. Bucktails with teasers tipped with spearing is best. PORGIES down east around buoy 9 and moving west day by day.
