Free ride at whose expense?

The Port Jefferson Village Mayor and Board approved a free bus service for Stony Brook University students and ID carrying staff at the Port Jefferson Resident taxpayers' expense. The Mayor and her people are spending at least $13,000. for this exclusive service. The purpose is to reduce auto parking and increase business for the Village business community. Just exactly what does this outrageous plan do for the taxpayers? Let the businesses pay for and supply the vehicle for this oulandish service. Or have a vote to see who really is interested in such a plan.
