GiveBack Impact Project at Port Jefferson

Earl L. Vandermeulen High School's International Club Students Implement GiveBack Impact Project

The students of Earl L. Vandermeulen High School’s International Club recently demonstrated their commitment to community service by implementing a Giveback Impact Project through their Child-Fil-A Leadership Program. Students engaged in various therapeutic activities, including art therapy, music therapy, painting, and coloring, with the residents at The Bristol Assisted Living Facilities in Lake Grove.

The Chick-fil-A Leadership Program, organized by the International Club, empowers students to make a positive impact in their community through acts of service and leadership. This year, students chose to collaborate with The Bristol Assisted Living Facilities as part of their Giveback Impact Project to bring joy and companionship to the residents through creative and interactive activities.

"We are proud of our students for their dedication to serving others and making a difference in the lives of the residents at The Bristol Assisted Living Facilities," said John Ruggero, Principal of Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Principal. "The art therapy, music therapy, and other activities provided by our students not only brightened the residents' day but also fostered meaningful connections and shared experiences."
