Gun Violence is a national issue. We have had multiple mass shootings time and time again. People are just walking schools and shooting it up. When does it end? How can someone just murder or even just injure someone with a gun. It’s unacceptable.
Each and every day someone is killed by gun violence that is occurring in our own country. We can blame it on mental illness. But that’s not realistic. Anyone can have access to any gun. Right now a background check is 3 days. When I applied for a job my complete background check took a whole month.
Background checks need to be longer and more thorough. If someone is arrested for any crime, they should NOT be allowed ownership of a fire arm.
