Suffolk Woman Struck, Killed By Pickup: Police

MOUNT SINAI, NY — A 42-year-old Holtsville woman was struck by a pickup truck and killed in Mount Sinai on Thursday night, Suffolk police said.

Ann Marie Montgomery was heading westbound on northbound County Road 83, north of Canal Road, when she was struck in the left lane by a 2018 Ford F150, driven by a Mount Sinai man, just before 11 p.m., according to police.

Montgomery was declared dead at the scene by a physician from Port Jefferson Emergency Medical Services, police said, adding that the pickup’s driver was not injured.

The pickup was impounded for a safety check, police said. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the 6th Squad at 631-854-8652.
