Ice Festival Planned In Long Island Village

It will feature Guinness Book of World Records holder Rich Daly of Ice Memories, Inc., as well as an graffiti ice wall and carriage rides.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — The 3rd annual Port Jefferson Ice Festival will highlight the sculptures of renowned ice sculptor and Guinness Book of World Records holder Rich Daly of Ice Memories, Inc. at the end of the month.

The free Port Jefferson Business Improvement District event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 29 and Jan. 30.

The event will also feature unique interactive photo opportunities, including a graffiti ice wall, and horse and carriage rides, according to a post on the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page.

"Plus Everyone’s favorite Queens and their friends will be strolling the village," the post teased Disney's characters from frozen.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to shop the village’s boutiques and dine at its restaurants.

There will be free parking in the village's metered lots throughout the festival.
