FBI Director Kash Patel Joins Suffolk Law Enforcement In Panel Discussion On Local Law Enforcement Efforts

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel spoke in a panel discussion about local law enforcement efforts at the Port Jefferson Country Club last Thursday, officials said.

The event was hosted by the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association, United Coalition of Public Safety, and the police department's Asian Jade Society.

At the event, Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina discussed on the importance of law enforcement partnerships, keeping crime at record lows, and the future of policing.

Patel commended the incredible work "our members do every day to keep Suffolk County and our communities safe," the Suffolk Police Benevolent Association said.

"Thank you, Director Patel, for visiting with us, and thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this such a great event," the association said on its Facebook page.
