It is my opinion that certain business ventures which were attempting to get variances for parking were tipped off to the fact the administration was and did pass a resolution changing a Village Code so that a business without enough parking will be able to pay for instead of providing parking spaces. It is also my opinion the administration purchased and will continue to purchase Village private properties to bail the "business" community out of a parking dilema as they did at 303 Barnum Avenue. This major purchase, exceeding a half a million dollars was consumated without a taxpayer vote. Now I expect to see a glut of busineses opening and our taxes increasing to pay for the out of towners parking. Lets play fair.
