Man Passes Demand Note At Coram Bank, Bolts When Teller Refuses: PD
The suspect is described as a man, possibly in his mid-to late-20s, who stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall, cops say.
CORAM, NY — Suffolk police detectives are looking for a man they say tried to split with some cash from a Coram bank on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said a man entered M & T Bank on Route 112, just before 5 p.m., and handed a teller a note demanding cash, but the teller refused and the robber bolted.
The suspect is described as a man, possibly in his mid-to-late 20s, who stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slight build and dark, wavy hair, police said, adding, that he was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6553 or Crime Stoppers, a confidential police hotline, at 1-800-220-TIPS.
All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
