Man Pistol Whipped, Robbed In Gordon Heights: Suffolk Police
Three men, one waving a handgun, robbed a man on West Yaphank Road early Thursday, police said.
GORDON HEIGHTS, NY — A man was pistol whipped and robbed by three assailants in Gordon Heights early Thursday, Suffolk police said.
He was approached on West Yaphank Road at about 12:30 a.m. by three men — one who struck him in the face with a handgun, according to police. The armed assailant ended up taking his jacket, but his wallet had fallen out of it, police said, adding that the trio then left the scene.
It was not immediately clear if the man required medical attention.
