PORT JEFFERSON, NY —A man was shot in Port Jefferson Station early Sunday, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place at about 2:20 a.m. A man was walking on Wilson Street toward a bar on Main Street when a vehicle pulled up alongside him, police said.
A passenger in the rear passenger seat fired shots, striking the man in the leg, police said.

The wounded man, 21, of Wyandanch, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
