Man Stabbed Man To Death In Suffolk: Police
A man stabbed his acquaintance inside their shared residence and now faces a murder charge, police say.
CORAM, NY — A man fatally stabbed another man inside of their shared Coram home early Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said.
Anthony Smith, 64, stabbed his acquaintance, Jon Hall, 55, of Coram, inside their residence on Carr Lane during a fight around 4:55 a.m., police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Smith was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He will be held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.
