Opening day for fluke was a bit slow for most, but there were some keepers out there. Water temps have been a little cold and have delayed the fishing season. With this weeks warming trend and water temps rising, i believe the fish are going to move right in and fishing action should be excellent, maybe even by this weekend or at the latest, the following weekend. Schoolie size bass are being caught in the bays, where the water is warmer. Trolling umbrella rigs is a good way to locate them.
Month of June should light up with Bass and Fluke. Porgies will be here shortly as well.
