CORAM, NY — A mini school bus carrying five children was struck by a sedan in Coram on Friday morning, Suffolk police said. The bus was traveling westbound on Hawkins Avenue when it was struck by a Nissan sedan traveling northbound on County Road 83, just before 8 a.m., according to police. No one was hurt, police said. It was not immediately clear where the bus was headed. No further details were available.
