Being pregnant and giving birth are experiences that you will remember forever, so why not work towards making them the best possible! You may not be aware that there are many choices you can make during this special time that can be highly beneficial to you and your baby.
Join Claudia Jacobs Dunmire, Certified Childbirth Educator and Birth and Postpartum Doula, as we spend three evenings discussing: preparing for your baby’s birth, including what to eat to support a healthy pregnancy; the actual birthing experience and how to avoid unnecessary interventions; and then your first few weeks home with your newborn, which may be challenging but also can be a particularly joyful and calm time together.
The group will meet Tuesday evenings, March 4, 11 and 18 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. So, whether this is your first pregnancy or not, please join us for what promises to be an informative group experience. Call the Library at 473-0022 to register.
