Outrageous

The Country Club administration is arrogantly attempting to give away East Beach privileges to non-resident club members. The taxpayers are responsible for the beach bond, maintenance, beach staff salaries, insurance and many other expenditures. The non-members would not have any responsibility for any of the finances to run the beach. Just because the country club administration can't run a profitable or break even operation, doesn't mean they can take advantage of the taxpayers. Since they are trying to infringe on revenues associated with the Village finances the tax payers should be able to vote on the issues. Furthermore, they are opening a food establishment with no anticipation of making a profit, which of course would have added to the clubs bottom line. The Village Trustee has stated that a person has been selected to run the Grill for a year for free. What are they thinking? Get someone in that can make the Club happen without costing the taxpayers any more money. This Country Club is a business, run it like one.
