I just happened to fall upon an article from 2011 regarding Port Jefferson Village politics and wasn't surprised. The Village Planning Board Special Attorney Allison LaPointe McCaffery was Garants' campaign manager in 2011. LaPointe McCaffery now is paid with our tax money to the tune of $95,000 annually and possibly benefits as well. Is this called a payback? Probably not eh?
