The Times Record story and the mayors comments about the Gittos are probably correct. Smart business people, giving to the community they make there living in, but must have decided it wasn't a place for them to live, or they would have stayed. Most of the buildings where many business' exist are owned by non-residents of the Village, they couldn't stand the crowded, raucous, filthy, loud honky tonk carnival like venue down Port in my opinion. The West Broadway gateway to the Village with the section eight housing and the apartments at the Gudzik location owned by non -residents will create gridlock unseen by residents of our once quiet Village.Lets see what happens when the new regime comes in this year.
