Saturday, May 17: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Captain Richard Cloonan,a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain, will teach this two-part 8 hour class. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a N.Y. State Safe Boating Certificate, which allows boaters 10 years old and older to operate a motorboat in N.Y. State waters. In addition, the certificate is necessary for those 14 years old or older to operate a personal watercraft (Jet Ski) in N.Y. State waters. The class will also fulfill the new legal requirement that adults born after May 1, 1996 have the proper training to operate a motor boat or Jet Ski in N.Y. waters. The cost of the program is $50, payable by check to “Richard Cloonan” at the time of registration.
