Police Release Surveillance Photos of Setauket Bank Robber
Man robbed a Chase bank on Thursday afternoon, police say.

Police have released surveillance photos of a man they say robbed a Setauket bank on Thursday.
According to police, the man, who had his arm in a sling and bandages on his head and face, entered the Chase bank, located a 1395 Route 25A, and demanded money from the teller and threatened the use of a weapon at about 12:40 p.m.
The teller complied with the man’s demands and the robber fled on foot, police said.

The man was described as white, in his early 40s, 5-foot-8 with a medium to heavy build. He was wearing sunglasses at the time of the robbery, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
