Police Searching For Man Who Used Stolen Debit Card At Home Depot
The man bought about $400 in merchandise, Suffolk police said.

TERRYVILLE, NY — Suffolk police detectives are looking for a man they say used a stolen debit card at a store to buy about $400 worth of gift cards at Home Depot in Coram last month.
The debit card was reported stolen out of a 2019 Ford that was parked outside of a Newport Drive home in Terryville on Dec. 10 at about 2 p.m., police said, adding that the same day, a man used the card to purchase several gift cards from Home Depot on Middle Country Road.
The gift cards were valued at $390, police said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about the debit card theft can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, or by using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips.
Tips can also be submitted online at www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
