Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate three people who held a couple at gunpoint and stole more than a quarter million dollars worth of jewelry and cash last summer.

According to police, two men confronted a woman in her driveway on Sunset Path on Aug. 11 at about 5:40 a.m. and forced her into the home while a third man waited outside.

Once inside, the men held the woman and her husband at gunpoint and demanded they open a safe. The residents complied and the men stole about $80,000 in cash and approximately $200,000 worth of jewelry, including a men’s Rolex Presidential Platinum Masterpiece watch and a three karat diamond cross, as well as a second safe. A red four-door sedan and a white two-door Mercedes were seen leaving the area at the time of the incident. No one was injured during the burglary.
