The Port Jefferson students were splashed with colored powder as they walked the 4K, which started at 9:30 a.m. Prior to the start of the walk, club members led a dance warm up.

Sophomores Emma Schoepflin and JiWon Woo were chosen to serve as Walk for Beauty ambassadors, meeting with the Ward Melville Heritage Organization to help run and communicate information about the event.
