1. Port Jefferson Village is putting on a firework show to celebrate Independence Day! The sky will light up on Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. The best view will be from the East or West beaches. A resident parking sticker is required. (Port Jefferson Village)
2. Nearly 100 folks came to see the prestigious Port Jefferson Prom traditions on June 28. Many may not know, but this year's theme was spooky! The special night was held at the Meadow Club. Find photos of the event here. (TBR News Media)
3. An Italian Restaurant is set to open on a historic site just 4 miles away from Port Jefferson. Business owner David Tunney brings an Italian taste to the village of Stony Brook with the Restaurant Luca's grand opening at 93 Main St. (LongIsland.com)
