1. The Port Jefferson Toast Coffeehouse closed its location in the village and is now open in a new place at 650 Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station. The new address offers a larger space to serve more customers and to provide catering. (LongIsland.com)
2. Port Jefferson community is just eight more days until the Greek Festival. Authentic Greek food, music, dancing, rides, and more will be offered from Aug. 25 -28 at the Orthodox Church of the Assumption in Port Jefferson. Find more info here. (Patch)
3. Attention community, East Beach is officially closed in the Village. The closure is due to the bluff stabilization project, which will take about eight months to be completed. No pedestrian or vehicle transits will be allowed on the beach during ongoing construction. (Port Jefferson Village)
