Port Jefferson Harvest Festival: Full Preview

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Residents of Port Jefferson and surrounding areas can expect a full day of fun this Sunday at the Port Jefferson Harvest Festival.

The day will start with a farmer's market run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Harborfront Park. Mystery & History of Magic Show will kick off at noon at the Village Center. There will be adult tastings from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at C'est Cheese, Port Jeff Brewing Company and Port Jeff Liquors.

The Costumed Dog Parade will start at 2 p.m. on East Main Street. There will also be arts and crafts from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the children department of the Port Jeff Library.

Chandler Square will have some events lasting all day, as well. At Hannaford Studios, there will be a Pet Portrait Raffle. You can enter to win a gift certificate at Origin of Era, a boutique. At Simple Good, a gift shop, you can make your own caramel apple. In addition, there will be ice cream, soaps, teas and spices, clothes, food and music.
