Port Jefferson Man Ran Over By Brother In Suffolk Hotel Lot: SCPD
The two men were arguing when one got in his pickup truck and ran his brother over, seriously injuring him, police say.
HAUPPAUGE, NY — A man faces charges after Suffolk police say he ran over his brother in a Hauppauge hotel parking lot on Sunday night.
Brothers Thomas Delaney and Michael Dubhlaine were arguing in the parking lot of Hyatt Regency Long Island, at 1717 Motor Parkway, around 9:10 p.m., police said. Delaney then got into his 2015 Ford F-250 pickup truck and ran it over Dubhlaine, police said.
Dubhlaine, 36, of Port Jefferson, who was seriously injured, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital by police.

Delaney, 38, of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, was charged with second-degree assault and driving while ability impaired/combination drugs and alcohol. He was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
