Port Jefferson Restaurant Offers Free Thanksgiving Meals
The Steam Room will serve anyone free Thanksgiving dinner - turkey, stuffing, and all the fixings - this Thursday.
PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Vinny Seiter of The Steam Room Restaurant in Port Jefferson is sponsoring free Thanksgiving meals this Thursday, according to the chamber of commerce.
The dinner, including turkey, stuffing, and all the fixings, will be served from noon to 5 p.m. The generous offer is available "to anyone and everyone, not just the needy, though any help is appreciated," chamber officials wrote in an email to members on Friday.
The Steam Room's management made the announcement by posting a note outside of the restaurant and thanked patrons for a great season.
