Port Jefferson School District Celebrates Success at Local Dragon Boat

Port Jefferson Teachers recently participated in the Dragon Boat Race

The Port Jefferson School District is thrilled to announce that Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Susan Gilgio and Pre-Kindergarten Teaching Assistant Hana van Oiste recently participated in the local Port Jefferson Dragon Boat Race Festival. This vibrant community event brought together participants from all walks of life and showcased the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that defines our town.


Susan and Hana joined fellow community members in this exciting competition, exemplifying the District’s commitment to community engagement and collaboration. Their participation not only highlights the importance of physical activity and teamwork for our students but also strengthens the bond between our school and the community.
