Port Jefferson Village Parking Committee

The letter to the editor in the 4/25/2019 Port Times Record by Kathianne Snaden is quite humerous in my opinion. She feels that everyone should think about the parking, or lack thereof, the parking lots, the business community,as she does, and her myoptic view of the citizens of the Village and the letter she mentions without naming who wrote it. In my opinion she is aligning her statements with that of the mayor and trustees who are responsible for the major Bond debt they have saddled the taxpayers with. She also incorrectly states that the parking lot she is referring to was the one at 330 Barnum Ave which cost the taxpayers $525,000 in May of 2016 then stated it is on the corner of Caroline and Barnum which the taxpayers have no information regarding the cost. As a member of the Parking Committee she should check her information before having it published, as should the Port Times Record.
