7 Women Arrested During Massage Parlor Raids: Police

Seven women were arrested during multiple massage parlor raids in Suffolk County on Thursday and Friday, police said.

According to police, Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers, the United States Department of Homeland Security and the Town of Babylon Task Force conducted a two-day investigation into the illegal activities at several massage parlors in Copiague, Lindenhurst and West Babylon.

The massage parlors are located at 131 E. Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst; 140 Route 109, West Babylon; 1391 A Montauk Highway, Copiague; and 179 A Great East Neck Road, West Babylon.

The following women were charged with unauthorized practice of a profession, a Class E felony:

• Yubin Zhang, 49, of Lindenhurst
• Liying Han, 28, of Flushing
• Fang Li, 44, of Flushing
• Shuya Meng, 57, of Flushing
• Ying Zhu, 54, of Flushing
• Hong Liu, 44, of Flushing
• Chen Yang, 34, of Flushing

The Town of Babylon Task Force issued numerous summonses for multiple violations to the tenants and the landlords of the respective locations, police said. The investigation is continuing.
