Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Announces Six Named Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program

Principal John Ruggero of Earl L. Vandermeulen High School announced recently that six of its students have been named Commended Students in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. These students received a letter of commendation, and the principal of the selected students will present the National Merit Scholar Corporation.
About 34,000 commended students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic ability. Although they will not continue in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship awards competition, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
Earl L. Vandermeulen High School congratulates Jax J. Moore, Evan Monaghan, Emily Snyder, Aramis Khosronejad, Sara Freitas, and Jan Goldgaber for this significant achievement. It looks forward to supporting their future academic endeavors.
