Suffolk Man, 21, Acts Lewdly In Front Of Postal Carrier: Police

The same man committed a lewd act in front of a woman last July while he was riding his bike, police say.

CORAM, NY — A Coram man was arrested Thursday after Suffolk police say he committed a lewd act in front of a postal carrier in a parking lot in March.

A postal carrier was walking through the parking lot of CVS, at 1710 Route 112, when Jordan Thomas, 21, committed a lewd act in his car around 1:15 p.m. March 31, police said. The postal carrier called 911 and reported what happened, police said.

Thomas was arrested after a police investigation. Thomas was also involved in an incident on July 12, 2019, when he committed a lewd act while riding his bicycle in front of a woman on Chestnut Street in Coram, police said.

Thomas was charged with two counts of public lewdness. He was issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on May 15.
