The Suffolk County Sixth Precinct Cops Who Care presented the 8-year-old boy and his family with the check on Friday.

SELDEN, NY — Members of the Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Cops Who Care presented the family of a child with cancer with a check for $5,000 on Friday morning, the police department shared in a press release.
Brody Kuenzler, 8, who is autistic, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, earlier this year. His treatment included chemotherapy and radiation, some of which required travel to New Jersey. The check was gifted to his parents, Theresa and Bob Kuenzler, around 10:30 a.m.
The money for the donation was raised at the annual Sixth Precinct Cops Who Care Golf Outing held at Willow Creek Golf and Country Club in Mount Sinai.
