Missing Port Jefferson Station Man Found: Police

UPDATE: Stewart Wolff, 82, last seen driving a red 2010 Ford Edge, has been found, Suffolk police said.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Port Jefferson Station man who suffers from dementia, Suffolk police said Tuesday.

Stewart Wolff, 82, was last seen leaving his home on Nostrand Avenue at around 3 p.m. Tuesday when he left in a red 2010 Ford Edge with New York State license plate ALE 1903, according to police.

Wolff is white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 165 pounds, police said, adding that he is bald with hazel eyes and was wearing blue pants, a tan shirt, and glasses.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Wolff’s location to call 911 or 6th Squad detectives at 631-854-8652.
