Suspect Used Stolen Credit Cards In Coram: Police

CORAM, NY — Suffolk is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the man who used a stolen credit card at Home Depot in Coram last month.

Credit cards were stolen from an unlocked car on Woodland Road in Miller Place overnight between Oct. 11 to 12, and a man then used one of the cards to purchase items at Home Depot on Middle Country Road on Oct. 12, police said.

Suffolk’s Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information about the theft can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, by using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips. Tips can also be submitted online at www.P3Tips.com.

All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
