In my opinion the Port Jefferson Village administration will be selling our parking spaces, buying property without a taxpayer vote, and running amouck with their power crazed need to satisfy the existing and future business need for parking. Garant and her cohorts are changeing the codes to allow business' to pay a fee if they don't have the space to provide parking spaces according to code. She already gave in to the owner of the old Main and East Main bank building by making a deal with Town of Brookhaven Supervisor Romaine to utilize some waterfront parking. The lot at 303 Barnum Avenue when completed will have cost the taxpayers $500,000. The new apartment dwellers will have plenty of parking space with "our" purchase of this property. Mabey we should just wait to put a stop to her over zealousness until she has taken yours or my property for parking space for her friends in business.
