Suffolk County has received a Major Disaster Declaration from the Federal Government because of damages caused by Hurricane Ida. If your home, business, or property sustained any damage from this storm, you may be eligible for assistance through FEMA, Small Business Administration, or other resources. FEMA has set up a recovery center at the Rose Caracappa Senior Center, 739 Route 25A, Mount Sinai, NY. This center is open daily from 8 AM to 7 PM.
