So I waited almost 2 months to find out if the "new" web site would provide citizens of the Village the past minutes of the Village Boards. To me this is important to have so that one can follow the information regarding an issue from start to finish. To date the Planning and Zoning Boards only have 2016 meeting minutes, which are always late in posting. The Board of Trustee meetings have 2016 minutes and three from 2015 and are never available in a resonable amount of time. It is quite bewildering as to why the historic minutes are not posted as they have been in the past. As many can remember, one of Mayor Garants negative comments during her first run for Mayor was regarding the then administrations tardiness with minutes and how unfair and unjust it was to not make the minutes available in a timely fashion. One Village worker suggested I go to the Village hall and physically go through the minutes, I thought that was an insult based on the amount of money the Village paid for the site and the fact that it is 2016 in America and things are not done like that anymore and to even suggest it was uncalled for. Still waiting!
