June 14, 2018 the Port Jefferson Village Administration will have a meeting for what they call a minor subdivision of the Village property at 303 Barnum Avenue and 201 West Broadway, the Shipyard apartments property. 303 Barnum Avenue was purchased with a Bond issued on May 16 2016. In my opinion there were 3 attorneys for Port Jefferson Village, Egan, a paid attorney, Trustee attorney Lawrence LaPointe and mayor attorney Garant. We the taxpayers are in debt for 8 more years for this property and what could have caused this need for a subdivision? Did the Attorneys not have a survey done? Just what has caused the need to subdivide after the taxpayers are on the hook for $525,000. Nothing is minor when the property cost us this unbelievable sum for a parking lot.
