$1000 Awarded to Schreiber Senior, Edward Samowitz

On June 12, Brotherhood of The Community Synagogue presented its inaugural $1,000 HMEEF Scholarship at Schreiber Awards Night. Applicants were asked to write an essay discussing the consequences of indifference to hate during the Holocaust and elsewhere throughout history. The scholarship was awarded to Schreiber Senior Edward Samowitz.
