3 Brooklyn Men Arrested After Burglary On Thursday In Roslyn Heights: Police
NCPD says the men fled with a cash register in the early morning.
ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NY — Three Brooklyn men were arrested after an incident that occurred early Thursday morning, police said.
Nassau County police said officers responded to a call for a burglary in progress at a gas station on Powerhouse Road.
Officers determined that three men broke a glass door, entered the business, and then fled with a cash register at approximately 1:38 a.m.

Edwin Rodriguez, 20, William Taft, 19, and Shamel Stilley, 24, were arrested after they were located nearby, police said.
An investigation found that the gas station wasn't the only business – the three men also pried open the back door of Holiday Farms on Roslyn Road, and attempted to open a cash register, NCPD said. The Brooklyn men fled without any proceeds, police said.

All three men were charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, and Rodriguez had an additional charge of possession of burglar tools, police said. They will be arraigned on March 27 at First District Court in Hempstead, NCPD said.
