• Prosecutors: 15-year-old charged with attempted murder after high-speed chase through Port Washington and Manhasset (news12.com) — Port Washington residents saw a terrifying police pursuit Wednesday when a 15-year-old allegedly drove a stolen SUV onto a local lawn, crashed into a police car on North Bayles Drive, and later took another vehicle on Port Washington Boulevard. The chase ended in Manhasset, and the teen, now held without bail, faces an attempted murder charge after allegedly driving toward an officer.
