PORT WASHINGTON, NY — Four-year-old Honeymoon is looking for a forever home where she can relax — whether that's perched on a cat structure or curled up in someone's lap.
Honeymoon arrived at North Shore Animal League America's Port Washington campus from a municipal shelter in New Jersey and is now hoping to find a family of her own, shelter staff said.
Although Honeymoon has Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, shelter staff said her veterinarians have created a treatment plan to help manage her condition. The plan will be covered at cost through North Shore Animal League America's Pet Health Centers, according to the shelter.
With her health needs being managed and a diet in place, Honeymoon can focus on the things she enjoys most: catnip, a comfortable place to nap and having someone to love.
More information on how to adopt Honeymoon can be found on her profile online.
