Cops: Woman Used Counterfeit Money to Buy Coat in Manhasset
The woman used four counterfeit $100 bills for the purchase, and had six more fake $100 bills, police say.

A woman used counterfeit money to purchase a coat at a Manhasset department store Friday evening, authorities said.
Nassau Police say Neavonie Sutton, 18, of Brooklyn used four counterfeit $100 bills as payment for a coat at the Lord and Taylor at 1440 Northern Boulevard at 6:30 p.m.
An investigation revealed that Sutton was in possession of six more counterfeit $100 bills. She was placed under arrest without incident, police said.

Sutton is charged with 10 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument and is scheduled for arraignment on Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
