Crave, the restaurant on Haven Avenue in Port Washington has shut its doors, according to a report in Newsday.
Known for its comfort food, the American-style restaurant opened in March 2013 and served seafood, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, brick-oven pizza, and salads. At times, the restaurant was standing room only, especially on popular karaoke nights.
A peek inside the eatery showed the seating pushed up against the windows, and the interior of the restaurant dismantled. Calls to the restaurant were not answered, though its website is still available.

The restaurant was once home to the Montebello, a family-style restaurant.
